Free Local Home Delivery Service

For postcodes beginning with TR13 9 (Porthleven, Helston & some surrounding villages) we may be able to offer a free local home delivery service with delivery time options of either before 17:00hrs or after 17:00hrs Tuesday – Friday. Saturday delivery may be possible, please call us on 01326 562008 to discuss.

Nationwide Delivery

We send our fish out three times a week for delivery on either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, you can select your preferred day of delivery when ordering. Everything is sent out via an overnight courier, and for most areas of the UK should be delivered by 12:00 noon the day after despatch or 18:00 hrs for some areas of Scotland . For exceptions (some areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands & Isles of Scilly), please see the list of postcode at the bottom of this page.

We send out our fish and products in labelled vacuum sealed pouches, both for its protection whilst in transit and also to be fully prepared for you to freeze if desired on arrival. It is then packed in insulated polystyrene boxes with ice packs to keep it chilled and in prime condition.

The delivery charge is £7.95 for orders up to £100.00 (excluding the delivery charge), with no delivery charge for orders over £100.00. There is a minimum order value of £10.00.

Cornwall Delivery

For TR13 postcodes not eligible for the free local home delivery service we can offer a reduced delivery charge of £5.95 for orders up to £100.00, with no charge for orders over £100.00.

General Delivery Terms & Conditions

Internet orders received after 07:30 on Thursday will not be despatched until the following week. (excluding Bank Holidays) unless a Saturday delivery is selected.

If you prefer the more personal touch we welcome orders over the telephone, and can prepare and pack to more specific requirements.

Orders are subject to availability and early orders will take priority when products are limited. If we are not able to deliver on your preferred delivery day or are not able to fulfil the whole order, we will contact you.

If you are not around to accept your parcel, we do give instructions to the courier that a signature is not required and to leave the parcel safe. If you know you are not going to be in to accept the delivery you can leave instructions in the special instructions box for the courier to leave with a neighbour, or in a safe place of your choosing (e.g. in porch, behind recycle bins, round back or side of house)

In the event that your order has already been despatched, we will be unable to make any alterations to your order.

All products leave our premises in perfect condition and we hope that you are pleased with our products, but in the unlikely event that a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, we will happily refund or replace the item.

In the unlikely event that your parcel is damaged in transit, you must notify the carrier (or postman) of even the slightest trace of damage (holes, signs of crushing, etc.) to the parcel, and refuse the package if necessary.

Please then ensure that you notify us immediately by calling on 01326 562008 or emailing sales@quaysidefish.co.uk. Please quote your name, order number, address and reason for return, letting us know whether you would prefer a refund or replacement.

No exchanges can be made at a later time for goods claiming to be damaged during carriage without notification at the time of reception.

As with any shipment, a delay or loss of goods is possible. In such a case, the carrier shall start an investigation. Every effort is made, for as long as necessary, to find the package. If the package is not found, we will deliver a new, identical package free of charge.

Should delivery not be made due to no persons being in and nowhere safe for it to be left, Quayside Fish will not be held responsible.

We shall not be held responsible for delayed delivery times due to the carrier, including for the loss of goods, bad weather or strikes.

We do not normally deliver on a Saturday, as should there be a problem with delivery, we are not able to contact the courier office. If a Saturday delivery is requested this will be at the customers’ risk and will incur an additional delivery charge.
